I found yoga, or yoga found me during a time of deep burnout, when I felt completely disconnected from my own body. 
 

I was living in a constant state of fight or flight - always rushing, always on alert, rarely pausing long enough to notice how I truly felt. 

Stepping onto my mat offered something I hadn’t felt in a long time, safety, stillness, and space to breathe.

 

Through yoga, I slowly began to reconnect with myself. I learned to listen to my body, to notice where I was holding tension, and to soften those places with compassion. My practice guided me out of my head and back into my body, inviting a sense of presence I’d been missing.

 

As my breath deepened, my mind followed, racing thoughts softened, and moments of clarity and calm began to return. Yoga became a pathway home to myself.
